COVID-19 Exposure 10/31/2020
Please call in advance and make a reservation to schedule your computer time. Computer availability will be limited without a reservation.
When you arrive, call to let us know you're here and proceed to the side entrance.
Please use our hand sanitizing station upon entering and observe social distance guidelines. A mask must be worn at all times in the building. Proceed to the Computer Lab and access the computer with your library card.
1. Call the library or place your order online. The availability of items from other libraries will depend on their reopening status. Regular limits on material types apply.
2. Call us during service hours to say that you are on the way. Call again when you arrive and keep distance from the pickup table and entrances.
3. A staff member will place your items on the pickup table. Wait until staff has cleared the area before approaching and retrieving the items.
If you have a question or need a special accommodation, please call the library during service hours to discuss it.
Returns and Donations
The book drops outside our buildings are opened.
Please allow up to seven days for items to clear from your account as they will be quarantined before being processed.
Late fees and overdue items will continue to be waived, so there is no need to rush.
Donated library materials that are in good condition can be depositied into the book drops. Thank you for your consideration and geneorsity!

The first 20 pages of mobile printing, copying, and faxing will be free of charge. Regular fees for anything above the 20th page will apply.
Notary service will be provided free of charge.
Voter registration and notary services are subject to staff availability. Please call the library to make an appointment.
The Collinsville and Fairmont City Libraries have Chromebooks available for free checkout! Borrow a Chromebook with your library card for up to 3 hours. You can take it home or stay at the library to use free wi-fi through the library's parking lot hotspots.
The Mississippi Valley Library District is pleased to announce the addition of parking lot Wi-Fi hotspots. This new service is available at both library centers. The hotspots are available every day from 9AM to 9PM.
To use the service in Collinsville, park between the library and the historic Blum House.

Virtual programs for all-ages are created by library staff and shared on the MVLD Facebook pages, YouTube channel, and presented live on Zoom.
