PROGRAM COORDINATOR
The Mississippi Valley Library District (MVLD) seeks a full-time, committed, and experienced Program Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be able to work and communicate effectively with library staff and community members, manage multiple concurrent tasks, and provide the highest level of service to the Collinsville and Fairmont City communities. Primary responsibilities include planning and implementing engaging events for adults, teens, and tweens as well as providing services at service points.

Hours:
Full-time schedule is 40 hours per week. Day, evening, and weekend hours required as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a high school degree or equivalent; the ability to speak, write, and read in English; basic computer skills; and two years of library and/or program implementation experience and/or equivalent. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
Salary & Benefits:
This position will be paid an hourly wage beginning at $17.00/hour DOQ. The position is also enrolled in the MVLD’s Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) pension. Health and dental insurance provided. Paid vacation, sick, and personal leave accrued. Optional supplemental health and liability insurance available. This is a full-time, salaried, FLSA non-exempt position.
